5 ENGAGING AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR 2 YEAR OLD

Toddlers from 1 to 2 years of age goes through a lot of changes in there life this time is most important time for child development at this stage of life they have a lot of energy and curiosity to explore things.
at this stage of life these little pre -toddler learns a lot from there environment.

its very important for care takers to make there this time productive and introduce positive activities to them to keep them engage in a positive way . So that they can learn and play at the same time with in a healthy and stress free environment.

so I am going to share some fun learning activities that works really well for me and helps me to keep my little once engage for several hours .

note : these activities are simply suggestions what I believe and have observed are appropriate for this age. 





1. BUILDING BLOCKS

give your child set of colorful block either labelled with number or alphabets' ask him/her to stack them or arrange them or make something creative from them 

what it teaches?

- fine motor skills.




2. OBJECT TRACING

place some objects on plain or colored paper and ask your child to draw lines around it with colors or crayon's.

what it teaches?

- Self control 
- fine motor skills




3. PAINTING TOYS

Gather some unused or broken toys and ask your kids to paint them with there own imagination. use water colors or poster colors to paint so that they can be used again after washing. this one is my own kids favorite activity . Do this in your backyard or terrace to ovoid mess in the house.

what it teaches?

- Fine motor skill
- hand eye coordination




4. sink or float

fill up the bucket with water and gather some toys or objects of different wait and throw them in the bucket one by one and ask your child to observe which one sink and float.

this game is best to play at bath time to make baths more interesting .

what it teaches?

Cognition
- Early scientific development



5. pouring water in cups.

gather few plastic cups and a water jug and ask your kid to pour water in the cups from the jug, Refill the jug when it gets empty .

what it teaches?

Fine motor skills
- Hand-eye coordination



Hope these activities will help your little monster engage as they have worked pretty well for me. While your kid play with these keep him/her reminding not to create mess this will help both of you he/she will learn to keep things in order and to perform tasks neatly and you will not have to clean a lot of the mess.
